For access to tours and the Museum and Library, please report to the Cricket Tasmania reception area (Western Gate). The Museum and Library is located on the first floor of the Members’ Pavilion.
The Museum, Library and Arena Tours are all managed by a team of volunteers on behalf of the Tasmanian Branch of the Australian Cricket Society.
Our champion players from the 1800’s (e.g. Charles Eady and George Bailey Snr), through to the 21st century (Tim Paine and George Bailey Jnr), are celebrated throughout.
Team success is also prominently displayed, with many trophies (including the 1979 Gillette Cup), artefacts and photos to tell the story.

Donations are welcome.
The Max Atwell Memorial Library was established after the Cricket Tasmania Board of Directors agreed to purchase the cricket library assembled and owned by the late Max Atwell.
The collection of approximately 3,000 books was regarded as one of the finest private libraries in Australia. The library has continued to grow through donations by cricket followers around the country. The books are stored in bookcases generously donated to Cricket Tasmania by the Melick family.
New books, highlighting Tasmanian cricket and the works of Tasmanian cricket writers, are available for sale from the Museum and Library office.
Second-hand books are also available for sale at discounted prices.
In addition to the items in the museum and the library, there are many other historical photos, articles and objects in storage, that may be of interest to researchers and historians.
